HAWK software module
The advanced HAWK module provides real time wind calculation in all 3 axis using sensor fusion and advanced digital signal processing. HAWK applies an “extended Kalman filter” (EKF) algorithm that calculates the movement of the airmass in three dimensions. The software module adds an "EKF" wind arrow and an "EKF" vario needle to the display options as well as an artificial horizon display.
HAWK is available for:
- LX80x0 and LX90x0 series flight computers (minimum Generation 4 is required as well as a V8(0) variometer)
- S10(0) e-variometers
